Slipping Through My Fingers– Every Mom’s Nightmare???

Can you imagine your only child leaving home to be with her husband and build their own family? It’s not really a nightmare of sorts but then again, if your only child was your only companion, then it would be much difficult to cope. On the other hand, it may be a good time to reassess and see what you can do in the absence of your precious child.. After all, in one way or another, your child will always call on mom on important moments of their lives, even when mom lives far far away.. I know this for a fact..

Anyway, video above is an excerpt from Mamma Mia. A very touching scene, with realistic lines. And true enough, I can always say that how I lived my life with my child had been a very challenging, yet fulfilling journey. I wouldn’t have it any other way. I am thankful and blessed to have a child such as mine.. Sometime in the future, I know she will be blessed with a fine, hardworking man to build a family with, and I am so sure I will be part of my grandchildren’s lives..

By the way, Happy Father’s Day to all of us, single mothers, who shamelessly and courageously faced the double role of father and mother to our children. ¬†And to all responsible and hardworking fathers out there, enjoy your day..
